Donations
Profits, toys and clothing from the 2014 Laura Street Festival have been donated to local and not-quite-so-local groups. These include the donations made for wood-fired pizza, ginger beer, sushi, the hommus competition and the vegan bake sale, as well as the stand-alone groups who organised the sausage sizzle, falafel rolls, ice cream, iced coffee, cold-pressed coffee and tacos. In total the Laura Street Festival 2014 led to donations of $4902 to the following organisations:

Over $5000, collected at previous Laura Street festivals in 2011, 2012 and 2013, has previously been donated.
- ATSICHS's Indigenous Youth Health Service;
- Animal Liberation Qld;
- The Australian Labor Party, to campaign for a decent and transparent government and community activities;
- Doctors for the Environment, Australia;
- Environmental Defenders Office, Qld;
- Fight for the Reef;
- Medecins Sans Frontieres;
- Multicultural Development Association's Donate-a-Ride programme;
- Radio 4EB;
- Regent Honeyeater Project;
- West Papuan Development Company's clean water program, towards construction of a well for a village in West Papua; and
- The Wilderness Society.
